Am Rain (Breitenlee), named in 2001 after an old field name. “Rain” is old German for “next to a field boundary” and also refers to the transition from one field terrace to the next.

The plans I had for August 31st 2024 were put off until the evening and so I biked to Am Rain in the afternoon. The only street sign for Am Rain was so grown over, I had a hard time spotting it. Met the cutest Chihuaha called Zoe there, who said hello and gave me kisses to the surprise of her owners as she's usually afraid of everyone, they told me.
