Am Kahlenberg (Josefsdorf), named (date unknown) after the 484 meter high Kahlenberg, the most famous viewpoint of Vienna. During the second Ottoman siege of Vienna in 1683, the city was liberated from here by the relief army, which is commemorated by the church on the summit.

 

Despite being tired, as I had had cocktails with Karo the evening before, I was motivated again to take photos, so I went to "Am Kahlenberg" on December 29th 2023. Long way to get there for a small place to take pictures at. Still, the light was beautiful and I treated myself with a portion of chip potatos from a Maronistand. Read a lot in "Trans" by Juliet Jacques (recommendation!) on the journey to and from "Am Kahlenberg".
