Aladar-Pecht-Gasse (Kagran) was named in 1959 after the official and technician Aladar Pecht. Pecht, born June 26, 1898 Deutschbrod, Bohemia (now Havlíčkův Brod, Czech Republic), † May 22, 1961 Vienna (Pötzleinsdorfer Friedhof), was director of urban planning Vienna (1957–1961), chairman of the construction committee of the Austrian Association of Cities (1957-1961) and inventor of the “parking disc” for short-term parking zones, which saved the city of Vienna from having to set up parking meters.

He received the Cross of Honor for Science and Art in 1958.
