Aichhorngasse (Gaudenzdorf), was named in 1894 after Josef Aichhorn (16.01.1823–31.01.1889). Aichhorn was an innkeeper (Schönbrunner Hauptstraße 32), town councilor and vice-mayor (1880-1889) in Gaudenzdorf. Before its official naming, the alley was called Feldgasse.

The first time I was at Aichhorngasse it was in February 2018, not for this project, but as an assistant to an architecture photographer. We were photographing the flat of someone living in this street. I remember the huge building site across from the house. On December 13th 2019, when I photographed the pictures above, it had already been replaced by the finished house.
