Agavenweg, named on May 19, 1954 after the agave, a lily family.

The housing estates “Agavenweg 26” with 23 apartments, built 1953-1955 according to plans by architect Hans Hoppenberger, is located on the Agavenweg.

 

These photos of Agavenweg in the 22nd district of Vienna were taken on July 17th 2019. It was super hot and the bike ride there quite exhausting. It felt like the end of the world and I was rather surprised to see both a tractor and a motorboat there.
