Achtergasse (Liesing), named (year unknown) after the teacher and principal Lorenz Achter (1834-1904). He was the founder of the voluntary fire brigade Liesing.

 

I was in a very melancholic mood on this March 3rd 2017 as I had just learned that the father of a close friend was in the hospital with terminal cancer. Any time I see the pictures of Achtergasse I think of my friend and her father.
