Absberggasse (Oberlaa) was named on July 13th 1875 after the marshes „In den Absbergen“ that have been first mentioned in 1690. The name probably derives from „des Abtes Berg“ (the abbot‘s mountain) which would link to possible cloister property.

 

I went to Absberggasse on Nov 1st 2016 with my then partner. We strolled around for quite some time improving the negative mood we had before.
