Abermanngasse (Hetzendorf), named in 1894 after the German historian Heinrich Abermann (1583–1621), from 1610 professor at the University of Vienna, from 1614 its rector. His special significance lies in the fact that he published the German translation of Wolfgang Lazius’s Vienna Austriae between 1616 and 1619, which became the first city history of Vienna in German. The alley was previously called Gloriettegasse.

I had the blues on February 21st 2016 and since I know that being outside and taking photos helps me with that, I went to Abermanngasse. Later on I visited a close friend who lent me an open ear and everything was better by then.
